1807 - M.A.C. ADDICT

I thought it would be a good idea to show you guys my M.A.C. collection. I started this blog months ago - 9 months I think or something? and I did that with a post about my make up, M.A.C. in particular. Looking back to that post, I think it's ridiculous compared to what my collection looks like now, and how much more I grew and know way more about the make up I own than I did back then. I love make up, I enjoy putting on my make up every morning and well, we all know I'm addicted to M.A.C. Cosmetics and that (almost) no other make up will ever touch my face. Here it goes, I hope you guys enjoy this post and make up as much as I do. Sorry about my rambling, haha. That's how I get when I talk about make up. Please let me know what you think, don't hesitate to contact me if you want to tell me something.

EYES

Cream Colour Bases in Pearl and Bamboo - I don't use these that much, mostly when I use glitter over my eyeshadows/pigments because otherwise they won't stick and end up all over my face.Paint Pots in Painterly, Blackground, Bare Study and Untitled. I use these every day as a base under my eyeshadows/pigments. They're fantastic, I think everyone who uses eyeshadow should use these as a base. I use Blackground when I do smokey eyes, the other ones are more neutral for every day use - although I prefer Bare Study or the Untitled paint because I find the Painterly to be more 'thick' and get a more orange tone during the day. I don't know if it's just me and that I'm hallucinating? Haha. Let me know if I'm not the only one who thinks about Painterly that way. All my eyeshadows. Listing all the names would be crazy I thought, so I just crappily photoshopped them onto the picture for the ones who are interested. The palettes below are the ones I use the most. As you can see I'm not that much into bright eye make up (I think, if I were into that, I'd prefer to use pigments over eyeshadows). Most of the days I choose some neutral (brownish) colours. I use Blanc Type over my Paint Pot and Naked pigment layer, then I put some Copperplate or Twinks in my outer corners, blending in towards my inner conners. I often mix some Sumptuous Olive or Greensmoke in it. Other days, I find myself lately choosing the more purple colours, blending them over Copperplate (might or might not be my favourite neutral eyeshadow) for a not too purple-ish look. Shadowy Lady (the lonely eyeshadow - they didn't have refill pans when I wanted to buy it) is my all time favourite eyeshadow and can be found on my eyes a few times a week.
M.A.C. Pigments - on top: Dark Soul, 3D Copper, Antique Green, Kitschmas. Below: Naked, Chocolate Brown, Pink Bronze, Silver and Teal.
I use Naked every day. It's the perfect base (on top of the Paint Pot) which makes my eyeshadow stay on even longer. Antique Green is my second favourite, and I love Chocolate Brown and Pink Bronze too. 3D Copper and Silver are glitters and are found to be on my eyes maybe once a month, for special occasions. I regret buying Kitschmas (seriously - ew) and Teal. They both look tacky on me.As I stated before, M.A.C. Splashproof mascara is my all time favourite, making my eye lashes superlong and thick combined with the primer. I was stoked when I bought the Blacktrack Fluidline a while ago, but I find myself liking the Liquidlast Liner way more, as it is totally waterproof and the Fluidline tends to get smudgy around my eyes during the day. The Liquidlast liner is defintely in my daily routine too. I forgot to put my Powerpoint Eye Pencil (in Engraved) in this picture but since I don't use it that much, it's not a big deal. I think it's the best eye pencil I've ever had though, it's waterproof too.

FACE

On my face daily:
M.A.C. Studio Sculpt Spf 15 in NW15
M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light
M.A.C. Select Cover-up in NW15 (used under my eyes)
M.A.C. Shaping Powder in Emphasize C68 (used on upper cheeks and under outside of eyebrows)
My blushes.
M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish Blush in Warm Soul
M.A.C. Powder Blush in Coppertone
M.A.C. Sheertone Blush in Pinch O' Peach

Since I bought Warm Soul, I only use that one. I think the Mineralize Blushes are way better for me since they don't leave too much colour on your face, which I found my other blushes to do way too much. Coppertone is too orange and Pinch O' Peach sometimes a bit too pink. Ofcourse that's because of the finish (powder blush/sheertone). Maybe I might buy one with a satin finish one day, but for now I'll stick with my Mineralize Blush.
My daily eyebrow routine. I brush them with an old mascara brush, make the angled brush (by Hema) wet and use the Omega eyeshadow to fill in my eyebrows. I find this to be way more natural-looking than when I only use my Eyebrow Pencil (in Fling) although I still use it to fill in some spots. Then I use the Eyebrow Fix by H&M (I don't think a more expensive one is needed).

LIPS

M.A.C. Lip Erase Lip Balm in Pale
M.A.C. Lip Conditioner Spf 15
M.A.C. Tinted Lip Condtioner Spf 15 in Petting Pink
M.A.C. Lip Glass

I use the Lip Conditioner every day cause my lips are really dry. I use lipstick almost every day so it's really necessary. Sometimes I use the tinted lipconditioner, or when I want a really nude look on my lips, the Lip Erase Lip Balm is the perfect thing, especially with some Lip Glass over it. Above, from left to right: Myth, Hang-up, Pink Nouveau, Red Full-stop, Saint Germain.
Below, from left to right: Ravishing, Morange, Ruby Woo, Crème d'Nude and Dark Side.

M.A.C. lipsticks are my favourites (just like every other product I have from M.A.C. - haha). They last superlong. I can't have enough of them. Crème d'Nude, Dark Side and Ravishing are my ultimate favourites. Ruby Woo is still the perfect classy red, and Morange the perfect orangey red. These five are the ones I wear the most. I know Myth is a nude classic, but I hate the satin finish so I think Crème d'Nude is way better. Hang-up basically looks like Dark Side but with a satin finish - goddamn, I'll never buy a lipstick with satin finish again. Red Full-stop was my first M.A.C. lipstick ever, and it's still pretty but kinda plain. I don't like too pinkish lips on myself, although Pink Nouveau is the perfect pink lipstick. Saint Germain just looks ridiculous on me.

BRUSHES

These are my M.A.C. brushes plus my eyebrow Hema brush, not gonna list all the numbers, you can see it on the photo. I don't use the foundation brush that much anymore, I'd rather use my hands. The other brushes are used daily and basically the best. 318 is a lipbrush and I only use it when I put on Dark Side in the morning, but I don't take it with me during the rest of the day.

  4. I'm lucky for having a sweet mom and aunt haha. It's actually not expensive when you look at it in the long term. A tube of foundation costs 30 euros and it lasts for a year :) same as all the other stuff.
