The Favourites (Summer) series Part V: Nails & Perfume

Today my favourite nailpolishes and perfumes as of late!

Nailpolish

I still wear nailpolish every day (paint them about 2 times a week) and my collection keeps on growing. I've been leaning towards blues most of the times, and I still prefer dark nailpolish on my own nails cause otherwise it looks like I've got tiny babyhands. But I've picked up some other, brighter colours as well, and I love them. Especially the Barry M ones!

Top row: Barry M Coral - Pink Flamingo - Blueberry
Great colours, and great quality for the price! I picked these up while I was in London and I'm going to get some more soon.

2nd row: H&M Blue My Mind - Essie Lapis of Luxury - Illamasqua Eclipse
The one from H&M is just an overall lovely colour, also quite good quality for the price. The Essie one is a funny story though. I normally don't like Essie nailpolishes (as in, I loathe them) but I saw a very nice purple one in the display. I asked the saleslady where I could find it cause I didn't see it anywhere, and she said "here it is!". I said "uhm, this is blue?!" "Yes, but it's this one". I was sceptic but the colour looked nice, I paid and took it home with me. Ofcourse it turned out to not be the colour that I wanted at all - it was blue, not purple. But I painted my nails with it, and although it is as crappy as all other Essie polishes (three coats, urgh!!) I really like colour. Then the Illamasqua one, I also picked this one up while I was in London and I am still thankful for it, every day, cause it's one of the most beautiful colours I've ever seen and the quality is great.

Bottom row: OPI Nail Strengthener Base Coat - OPI Dry drops - Chanel Black Satin
Great basecoat, it's almost empty but it's starting to smell very bad though. Gonna pick another one up soon! I was very hesitant about the Dry drops at first (I also bought it where they sold me the wrong Essie polish) but took it anyways and it's amazing! I advise you to wait at least half an hour after you've used them though, they're not THAT fast but since I usually wait more than an hour after I've painted my nails, half an hour seems better to me. Ahhhh, Chanel Black Satin. The most beautiful. I'll always reach for this when I don't know what to wear on my nails. I'll be repurchasing this until the very end of my life.

Perfume

Kiehl's Original Musk Eau de Toilette: This has beaten Daisy as my most favourite scent in the world. I had been lusting over this for quite a while and I'm so glad I decided to buy it! I love the smell, I can sniff at it for hours and hours!
Marc Jacobs Daisy: While I still use Lola every once in a while, I still like this one the most, and if it wasn't for Kiehl's Original Musk, this would stilll be my favourite perfume. Mmmmm.
