Sigma Brushes (E20, F35 & F82)

It's funny that I really used to be against Sigma brushes at first. I've been hearing about them for years but as a true M.A.C fan I never even thought of purchasing any of them.

A while ago I randomly picked up a tapered blending brush (the pointed one) from www.beautybyelke.be because M.A.C. didn't make these anymore and I really wanted one. I was really impressed by how much it felt like a normal M.A.C brush so it holds an important place in my make up belt now.

When ordering the Real Techniques brush from my last post, I saw that the site I was ordering from (UK) also sells Sigma and I decided to take a look. Three brushes appealed to me so I ordered them as well as the RT brush.

I ordered the F82 Round Top Kabuki, the F35 Tapered Highlighter and a E20 Short Shader brush.

I really don't care about foundation brushes or duo fibre brushes anymore really, cause I prefer to work with my hands, but I wanted the Round Top Kabuki brush mainly for blush. It's soft and has the perfect size. No hair loss so far but we'll see after a few washes.

I've wanted the M.A.C. Tapered Highlighter for a while now, but really, it's just too pricey and well, there's more to life than M.A.C. so I went for the Sigma version. I actually use this for contouring and bronzer, it's very soft and also hasn't lost any hairs yet but it's too early to tell.

I've also been lusting over a Short Shader brush but wasn't sure I really wanted to spend a lot of money on a brush I might not even use daily... Hence, the Sigma version. It actually feels a bit scratchy and it actually had 2 loose hairs peeking out when I unpacked it already so I'm a bit sceptic about it, but I'll see. I might end up buying the M.A.C. version after all for my make up belt (for my kit) after all.

Overall I really think the Sigma brushes are worth taking a look at. The quality is okay and the price sure is as well.
