June 7th.

I love nailpolish. I think that I've only had bare nails for about 5 days in total since 2011 started? I paint my nails about 2 times a week. I actually have a lot of nailpolishes... Yet I wasn't aware that most bottles contain metal balls.

And apparently everyone knows this? Why did no one ever tell me? I was in shock when I bought this Cover Girl sparkle top coat at the supermarket and saw two metal balls in them when I came home... I immediately turned to my friend Google and he explained to me that it's normal, that the balls make sure the sparkles don't drop to the bottom of the bottle and that the polish doesn't separate...

Of course I had to check all my bottles of nailpolish to see if they had metal balls in them too, and apparently my Chanel and OPI ones do (except for my transparent base coat - maybe that's why I never knew about it?) but the cheaper ones don't.

Most of you are probably laughing at me right now but I'm actually really fascinated by this discovery! ;) Anyways, take a look at the gorgeousness this CG sparkle top coat is. I think these are discontinued in America but you can find them here at your local Delhaize.
