This post is about the best eyecream in the world.


It's the Moisturelush Eye Cream by M.A.C.


...and they recently discontinued it.


...without me knowing.


No, really. I was so bummed when I found out about this. I really need to use an eye cream underneath my concealer (which I wear daily). I bought Moisturelush Eye Cream in August I believe, and it has stood by my side ever since. It has worked for me like no other eye cream (not even Lush or Clinique's All About Eyes Rich).

I think I liked it so much because of the creamy, buttery texture. And maybe the fact that it actually made my blue under eye circles lighter if I used it twice a day...

I only found out that they discontinued my favourite eye cream when it was already too late. They didn't have them in Maastricht anymore, and not at the Pro store in Antwerp. They wanted to call the counter in Wijnegem for me but then I thought - really? Do I really need to drive to Wijnegem to get an eye cream, if they even still have it? Isn't it possible there's another eye cream that's almost as good?

Now I never really understood why M.A.C. would discontinue things, but I always had peace with it cause I know they'll eventually come out with a similar or even better product. But with this eye cream... There's nothing in their store that's even similar - the Fast Response Eye cream is really good but not as hydrating as the Moisturelush, and it's not really made to put on your eyes at night. So I guess I'll just have to wait until the day M.A.C. comes out with a renewed version of this...

And until then... I think I've found a replacement for my sad, little, almost empty eye cream. But more on that later!
